First is, Mr. Usibe Terrence Ovie, our Office and Finance Administrator. Mr. Usibe holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) Accounting, from Imo State Polytechnic, Umuagwo in Imo State. Before joining ColdHubs, Mr. Usibe has held several managerial, accounting and tax auditing positions with private and public sector organization.
He is excited about the prospect of ColdHubs and together with the rest of the team wants to contribute his own quota to eliminate the challenge of food spoilage facing smallholder farmers in developing countries.
From Hub Operator to Marketing Officer
Second, our first Hub Operator at Relief Market Owerri, Miss Oluchi Mmegbu has just been elevated to join the management as our very first; Farms & Markets Marketing Officer. She will support our post harvest management education, marketing and on-boarding of new customers, as we deploy ColdHubs to new sites.
Ms. Mmegbu comes with a lot of on-the-ground experience. She was our first Hub Operator and grew our Relief Market Hub customers’ base from 10 within the first few weeks of opening to more than 150 customers in les than 5 months. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Education from Imo State University.
